Whenever you have a choice, try to schedule outdoor pictures in the morning or evening. For best results, try really hard to avoid the hours from about 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (especially on sunny days). I’m planning to write an upcoming post on how to make the best of things when you have to be out taking pictures during those hours. But in the meantime, here are some pictures of Leo at the park today, taken (with a flash) when the sun was pretty much directly overhead.
It’s always good to practice in less-than-ideal conditions, as much as I might want to wait for the pretty light!
Leo believes in “speak softly and carry a big stick.”
