My 365: Pet Store

One of my main goals with this 365 (366) project is to keep sharpening my photography skills.  Many of the skills needed to photograph animals, still-life subjects, etc. can be transferred over to portrait/people photography (my favorite).

And so, without further ado …

Welcome to the Pet Store.

I’ll be your host today.  If you’ll take a look just down the aisle to your left, I believe you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to go take a rest.  I’m quite exhausted, what with pining for the fjords.  I never underestimate the value of a good day’s rest.  Not like some people, always racing to get ahead …

“Eeehn!  Eeehn!  Must work off those Christmas cookies before bikini season!”

One final word of caution:  beware of the aquarium aisle.  I believe there may be spies among the tanks.

    1. Thanks, Kirsty! 🙂 At the moment, I am using a D90. And I think for those pictures, I used my 35mm f/1.8 lens, which absolutely ROCKS on a crop-sensor camera (especially when you have a small house, like we do).
